The SCORE Downeast Maine Chapter offers free confidential business counseling to existing small businesses and also to individuals who are struggling with how to start a business;helping them with a sample startup business plan. Counseling services are provided on a by-appointment basis. You may arrange an appointment by calling the SCORE office in Ellsworth and leaving a brief message and a return phone number on the answering machine following the prompt.
